55:1The Compassionate.
55:2Has taught the Quran.
55:3He created man.
55:4And taught him clear expression.
55:5The sun and the moon move according to plan.
55:6And the stars and the trees prostrate themselves.
55:7And the sky, He raised; and He set up the balance.
55:8So do not transgress in the balance.
55:9But maintain the weights with justice, and do not violate the balance.
55:10And the earth; He set up for the creatures.
55:11In it are fruits, and palms in clusters.
55:12And grains in the blades, and fragrant plants.
55:13So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:14He created man from hard clay, like bricks.
55:15And created the jinn from a fusion of fire.
55:16So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:17Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests.
55:18So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:19He merged the two seas, converging together.
55:20Between them is a barrier, which they do not overrun.
55:21So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:22From them emerge pearls and coral.
55:23So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:24His are the ships, raised above the sea like landmarks.
55:25So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:26Everyone upon it is perishing.
55:27But will remain the Presence of your Lord, Full of Majesty and Splendor.
55:28So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:29Everyone in the heavens and the earth asks Him. Every day He is managing.
55:30So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:31We will attend to you, O prominent two.
55:32So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:33O society of jinn and humans! If you can pass through the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go ahead and pass. But you will not pass except with authorization.
55:34So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:35You will be bombarded with flares of fire and brass, and you will not succeed.
55:36So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:37When the sky splits apart, and becomes rose, like paint.
55:38So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:39On that Day, no human and no jinn will be asked about his sins.
55:40So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:41The guilty will be recognized by their marks; they will be taken by the forelocks and the feet.
55:42So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:43This is Hell that the guilty denied.
55:44They circulate between it and between a seething bath.
55:45So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:46But for him who feared the standing of his Lord are two gardens.
55:47So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:48Full of varieties.
55:49So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:50In them are two flowing springs.
55:51So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:52In them are fruits of every kind, in pairs.
55:53So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:54Reclining on furnishings lined with brocade, and the fruits of the two gardens are near at hand.
55:55So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:56In them are maidens restraining their glances, untouched before by any man or jinn.
55:57So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:58As though they were rubies and corals.
55:59So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:60Is the reward of goodness anything but goodness?
55:61So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:62And beneath them are two gardens.
55:63So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:64Deep green.
55:65So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:66In them are two gushing springs.
55:67So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:68In them are fruits, and date-palms, and pomegranates.
55:69So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:70In them are good and beautiful ones.
55:71So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:72Companions, secluded in the tents.
55:73So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:74Whom no human has touched before, nor jinn.
55:75So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:76Reclining on green cushions, and exquisite carpets.
55:77So which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
55:78Blessed be the name of your Lord, Full of Majesty and Splendor.
