3 verses have
lowed
in Edition Clear Qur'an by Talal Itani / Al-A'raaf (The Heights)

7:117And We inspired Moses: “Throw your staff.” And at once, it swallowed what they were faking.

7:148In his absence, the people of Moses adopted a calf made from their ornaments—a body which lowed. Did they not see that it could not speak to them, nor guide them in any way? They took it for worship. They were in the wrong.

7:176Had We willed, We could have elevated him through them; but he clung to the ground, and followed his desires. His metaphor is that of a dog: if you chase it, it pants; and if you leave it alone, it pants. Such is the metaphor of the people who deny Our signs. So tell the tale, so that they may ponder.
