Earth's Shape and Expanse

Quranic verses describe the Earth’s wide expanse, facilitating the movement and livelihood of its inhabitants. It also alludes to the Earth’s shape, which allows for habitation and exploration. Some interpretations discuss the term “dahaha” which is associated with the Earth’s shape and has been a point of discussion among scholars for its connotations.

He who made the earth a habitat for you; and traced in it routes for you; and sent down water from the sky, with which We produce pairs of diverse plants.

And the earth, how We spread it out, and set on it mountains, and grew in it all kinds of delightful pairs?

And God made the earth a spread for you.

And the earth after that He spread.
